Tacolicious is a great spot for tacos and a marg. They offer booster seats and high chairs, depending on your kiddo, as well as a color-able kids’ menu (complete with crayons). Every time we’ve gone here for lunch, there have been several other parties with kids, so no need to feel awkward/uneasy with your baby or toddler. Also, it’s loud enough that kids’ vocals are easily drowned. BTW - the Margarita Picante is to die.

Laughing Monk is awesome if you want to have a couple of fantastic craft brews with kids in tow. We attended a 1-year-old birthday party and brought our two very young kids (18 months and 2 months). The staff are super cool, the patrons don't glare at you or judge you for holding a baby while you're drinking. I was even able to comfortably nurse without any stares. Only thing to note is there is nothing blocking the stairs getting into and out of the venue. My toddler kept running toward the stairs, so we had to watch her closely (thus 4-star ratings for layout and security).

Gott’s has several locations in the Bay Area, including San Francisco and Napa. We go to the Marin location in Greenbrae, just a few minutes north of where we live in Sausalito. It’s a great lunch choice for either dine-in or take-out. I ate lunch here a ton with my toddler daughter while pregnant with her brother. There are high chairs and plenty of kid-friendly menu items.

The food is extremely fresh and well-made, from the salads to the burgers to the sweet potato fries (my kid’s favorite). The wine and beer lists also leave little to be desired, so it’ll satisfy the adults, as well. Only concern about security is the front and side doors are often left open, so you’ve just got to watch your mobile kids so they don’t run out.

Salito’s has been a regular spot for us since we moved to Sausalito, minutes away and just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. This bay-front gem has super fresh seafood, with dishes prepared to perfection. The management is impeccable and will ensure you have not only a tasty but relaxing, enjoyable time.

Kids are offered crayons and a coloring palette, and there are several kid-friendly menu options. There’s a fantastic raised bar out on the deck where you can hunker down with your stroller-bound family members and order either from the bartender or staff who will mill about. The entire deck is also enclosed, ensuring your kid won’t hurl themselves into the bay. Of course, always keep an eye, just in case.
